As chief executive officer of Advicent, Angela leads the global executive team and steers them toward a common mission of enabling everyone to understand and impact their financial future through state-of-the-art financial planning technology. As a technology executive with over 15 years of industry experience, she has operated Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) companies of various sizes, holding leadership positions, including director of customer relations, vice president of professional services, president and chief operating officer, throughout the biggest growth phases in their history. Angela successfully graduated from the Vista Equity Partners executive development program, High Potential Leadership Program (HPLP), in 2011 and the firm’s Pinnacle program in 2017 to prepare the next generation of portfolio CEOs for future success.
Anthony Stich has one goal: to develop a team of exceptional customer experience leaders across the globe, empowering them with the latest industry-leading methodologies in strategic planning, customer success, and business development to successfully grow Advicent, the leading provider of SaaS technology solutions for the financial services industry, into a global brand. Published in numerous global outlets including the Journal of Financial Planning, Wealthmanagement.com, Investopedia, and bobsguide as well as being featured on Reuters, FinTech TV, Financial Advisor IQ, Asset TV, and Bank Bosun, Anthony has swiftly become a thought leader in the FinTech space, providing compelling statistics, a thought-provoking perspective, and much-needed humor in a rapidly-changing industry.
Prior to Advicent, Anthony spent most of his career in the financial services industry, leading the marketing group at Bank Mutual as well as performing national marketing and go-to-market functions between his roles at Guaranty Bank and AIG VALIC.
As chief technology officer, John provides strategic, operational, and programmatic support of our products to the greater Advicent organization, our partners, and the industry. His role is dedicated to defining business and product strategies; working directly with clients in providing technology solutions; and building product and service delivery organizations that deliver exceptional results. He draws many parallels from his decades of software development and product management experience in the healthcare industry to financial planning technology, including the importance of providing high availability of mission-critical technology, developing compliance strategies for a dynamic regulatory environment, and making complex information simple and actionable.
Prior to Advicent, John held various leadership positions including SVP of preparedness solutions and SVP of product management at Intermedix; chief technology officer and EVP at Informed Clinical Sciences Corporation; and chief technology officer at GE Healthcare.
As chief financial officer, Carrie serves as a strategic partner and financial advisor to the chief executive officer, the board of directors, and other members of the Advicent team. She employs a hands-on approach when contributing to the broader business, supporting the delivery of next-generation planning technology to the market and improving the Advicent partner experience.
With nearly two decades of experience, Carrie is a financial leader who has worked with numerous global organizations to continually deliver value and support strategic change through product launch efforts, reporting activities, and implementation of organization-wide financial tactics. Prior to her time at Advicent, Carrie held several leadership positions including senior director of finance at SoftwareONE; vice president, controller, and accounting manager at Centro; and senior auditor at Ernst and Young. Additionally, Carrie holds an MBA degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
As chief operating officer of our EMEA organization, Peter is involved in almost every aspect of the day-to-day and strategic business operations. With over 20 years of financial services industry experience, he leverages his expertise as a financial advisor and manager to spearhead operations for the Advicent EMEA organization.
Peter has held a number of roles at Figlo, including project manager, product manager, and manager of operations. Prior to Advicent, Peter served as an advisor at Reaal and a financial planner at Fortask/PlanWeb in the Netherlands.
Brian is responsible for product research and development; quality assurance; and the architecture and API strategy for the Advicent platform. For more than 15 years, Brian has worked in FinTech product development, successfully aligning technology and architecture to meet the business objectives of financial organizations.
As senior director of product management, Paul is responsible for leveraging data to uncover creative, actionable insights that can enhance the planning experience for both advisors and their clients. Drawing from a background of over 16 years in the financial services industry, he is establishing a metric-driven planning platform that reimagines how firms and advisors utilize intelligent data learning.
As vice president of financial planning, Tom is an integral contributor to the strategic vision around our financial planning initiatives. Additionally, he is critically involved in all partner interactions, thought leadership contributions, and internal training programs. With a background in business law, compliance, and financial services technology, he has worked with some of the largest financial services firms in the world to increase success, exceed client expectations, and remain compliant with technology.
As director of marketing, Matt oversees the breadth of go-to-market initiatives for Advicent, including product marketing, lead generation, and public relations. Drawing from a nearly decade-long background at Advicent, Matt works closely with the sales, product development, and executive teams to successfully align Advicent products with the evolving business needs of the financial services industry.
As vice president of finance at Advicent, Tim coordinates the financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting activities necessary to execute on the company’s strategic product development roadmap and go-to-market initiatives. Drawing from a background of over 15 years in financial leadership roles, Tim coordinates with departments throughout the organization to promote sound decision making and timely awareness.
Lee oversees our software-as-a-service (SaaS) hosting operations; aligns information technology with business strategy; upholds and enhances our comprehensive, ISO-certified data security program; and leads the IT team in infrastructure, software, and process improvements. With over 25 years of experience, he is a highly accomplished IT professional with a proven track record of directing IT operations as well as maintaining high levels of system and application availability.
As general counsel, Daniel oversees the legal and human resources functions at Advicent. With his decades of legal and information technology experience, he ensures that Advicent business leaders are making informed decisions that drive growth while managing risk. He is committed to working with internal and external partners to arrive at mutually beneficial agreements that result in successful outcomes for all parties.
