As I take over as chief executive officer at Advicent, it is hard not to reflect back on the last fifteen years. Over that time, I have witnessed substantial transformations within the industry; our current landscape is no different. In fact, some people would call this a time of “uncertainty.” We have seen a “revolution” of sorts — rapid technological advancements, emerging competitors, capital infusions, robo-advisors, seismic regulatory shifts, and, most importantly, changing consumer expectations.
One thing, however, has remained constant during this time — our commitment to developing best-in-class financial planning technology coupled with exceptional customer experiences, which together contribute to the success of our clients.
You see, it is difficult not to impart one’s personal objectives toward a company mission after so many years with an organization. It is difficult not to become an integral contributor to the strategy that a global company such as Advicent needs to succeed. It is hard not to become extremely passionate about exceeding the expectations of our clients’ satisfaction.
