As director of marketing, Matt oversees the breadth of go-to-market initiatives for Advicent, including product marketing, lead generation, and public relations. Drawing from a nearly decade-long background at Advicent, Matt works closely with the sales, product development, and executive teams to successfully align Advicent products with the evolving business needs of the financial services industry.

Thought Leadership – Third Wave of Financial Planning
The Thought Leadership category intends to showcase a new concept for industry content that will move the wealth management industry forward. Advicent’s finalist selection was based on our Third Wave of Financial Planning campaign – which identified a sea change occurring in the modern financial planning practice. Introduced on-stage at the 2019 T3 Advisor conference by Advicent CEO Angela Pecoraro, the third wave is identified by a merger of goals-based and cash flow planning methodologies, alongside greater planning freedom, and planning now being performed at numerous digital touchpoints.

In addition to being presented at various industry conferences, the Third Wave concept was delivered in other mediums throughout 2019 including a downloadable whitepaper, several thought leadership videos, and numerous blog articles. Media coverage of the concept spanned across WealthManagement.com and magazine, InvestmentNews, ThinkAdvisor, AssetTV, Medici, and Wealth Professional.
Chief Marketing Officer of the Year – Anthony Stich
The Chief Marketing Officer of the Year category seeks to highlight a marketing leader who has demonstrated vision, creativity, and high performance in enhancing their firm’s brand and expanding on their firm’s product and service set throughout the year. Advicent COO Anthony Stich takes on the role of leading Advicent’s branding and positioning in the financial services industry. In 2019, Advicent unveiled its rebrand with style starting at the T3 Advisor Conference featuring an official conference party headlined by Vanilla Ice.

Anthony Stich continued to place Advicent at the center stage of the industry at additional conferences including the CIFP conference, Wealth/Stack, and Schwab IMPACT – among others. Along the way, he delivered several thought leadership presentations to highlight industry topics and how Advicent is equipped to propel financial advisors and large enterprise organizations.
