The evolution of advice delivery

Client expectations are changing faster than ever due to the technology available at their fingertips 24/7 and the changing regulation of CRM2. Now advisors are expected to become more collaborative, accessible, and clear with their clients. At the Advicent Innovation Summit Toronto, attendees will explore the ways these types of tools can empower advisors to meet client expectations and provide a holistic collaborative relationship by linking together every facet of the client journey from start to finish. Building transparency and trust with clients by providing easy accessibility and powerful insight to their financial plan is becoming more important than ever in the client-advisor relationship.

Jay Mooreland of the Emotional Investor as morning keynote

Jay Mooreland, MS, CFP®, the founder and President of The Emotional Investor, will be the morning keynote speaker during the event in Toronto. Mooreland specializes in helping financial professionals empower clients to make more thoughtful, less emotional financial decisions for their future.

The financial services industry is in the midst of a major shift in client expectations, and many firms and advisors are struggling to keep up with the changing demands. Clients are now expecting their advisors to be more of a life coach along with a much more collaborative and transparent planning process. Mooreland specializes in teaching financial services professionals how to use behavioral coaching to meet these changing client needs.

Other event speakers include:

  • Phil Cunningham, CEO at Advicent
  • Cary List, president and CEO at the Financial Planning Standards Council
  • Lori Goodfellow, director, business architecture at Croesus
  • Tony Maiorino, vice president and director at RBC Bank

Advicent Innovation Summit Toronto sponsors include CroesusInstitute for Divorce Financial Analysts (IDFA), and Redtail.
