To our valued partners,

Like most Americans, everyone at Advicent has been paying close attention to the possible outcomes of Congress' recently proposed tax code legislation. As indicated by the unrivaled calculation engine that powers our software, we pride ourselves on accuracy. Because of this, we chose to refrain from comment until any finalized legislation was ready to clear both houses.

Now that we can speak with greater certainty, I can assure you that our product development team has already begun behind-the-scenes work to ensure that our financial planning tools maintain the highest standard of quality and continue to drive the most beneficial financial recommendations for every client that your institution serves.

Over the coming weeks, Advicent will continue to monitor the tax bill through the current administration’s signing statement and beyond. As always, we will deliver an update to the current 2018 IRS tax code in the first quarter of the new year. Once the current administration approves the most recent iteration of the tax bill, we will finalize the necessary updates that our software requires and announce a release date for these enhancements as soon as possible. We understand that these historic tax code revisions will substantially impact every client demographic, and we are dedicated to providing the unrivaled accuracy on which your organization relies.

At this time, we do not have an exact date for implementation because much of the forward progress to be made is contingent on the applicable government agencies finalizing all specific tax code revisions. With that, we promise to stay in close communication with your organization as soon as we have more information to share. We promise to uphold your business’ high standard of excellence through these legislative developments.
